What grades do you serve?

Preschool through 5th grade.

Is Cross of Hope a faith-based school?

Yes. We are a Lutheran Christian school where faith, learning, and character development are part of each day. Families of all backgrounds are welcome.

Is the school accredited?

Our preschool is accredited through ACSI, and our elementary program (K–5) is currently pursuing accreditation through Cognia.

What is your academic approach?

We provide a standards-based, developmentally appropriate education with small class sizes and individualized support.

How is faith included during the school day?

Through daily prayer, weekly chapel, Bible lessons, and Christ-centered values.

What are class sizes like?

Classes are intentionally small to foster strong relationships and personalized instruction. Ratios are as follows:

  • Preschool 3s: 1:8
  • Preschool 4s: 1:9
  • K-5th grade: 1:16
Do you offer full-day Preschool or extended care?

After school care is offered to elementary students (K-5th grades) on Fridays (12:30-3:00pm) through an enrichment program for an additional fee. There will be three different activities to choose from for each 12-week trimester session.

The preschool offers an afternoon class M-F 12:30-3:00pm for 4-year-olds only. Space is limited to 9 students. Availability differs per year; please contact the office for current offerings.

What is the bell schedule?

Currently we have staggered arrival and dismissal times.

*Doors will open at 8:00am

Monday-Thursday:

  • 8:10am-3:15pm | 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades
  • 8:20am-3:25pm | Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades

Fridays:

  • 8:10am-12:15pm | 3rd, 4th and 5th grades
  • 8:20am-12:25pm | Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades
Does the school calendar follow APS?

For the most part, our school calendar closely aligns with APS. We follow APS’s snow-day and snow delay determinations.

How do we apply?

Submit an application on our website and schedule a tour.

Is financial assistance available?

Yes! We have limited space so please apply ASAP! There is a $45 fee to FACTS, and you will need to provide the previous year’s tax returns and W-2 along with other information. You do not need to be enrolled to apply.
